Overview
DAX-202 is a two channel digital to analog audio converter. The DAX-202 has been designed to connect any digital server and IR or FM transmitters for Hearing Impaired and Visually Impaired-Narrative channels. Internally the user may select AES-EBU channels 7/8 or 15/16, or any external BNC input. Using the cinema automation the user may select the HI channel from the cinema processor or the servers audio. Dual 25 pin D-sub connectors one with DCI pin-outs and one with DMA-8 pin-outs. The DAX-202 compliments USL’s line of digital to analog audio converters such as the DAX-602, DAX-802 and ECI-60.
