Modular flexibility
The MMC4015 capsule is part of the flexible d:dicate Recording Microphones series. The 4015A with the MMP-A preamplifier suits acoustic instruments and voices with rich and open sound, where the 4015C with the MMP-C compact preamplifier is an excellent spot mic as a fill-in between an omni and a cardioid and easier to position.

Expand your horizon with a wider pattern
If you are already a d:dicate 4011 devotee, you will discover an exciting alternative in their wide cardioid microphones. The MMC4015 wide cardioid capsule differs in its polar pattern and is the perfect fill-in between an omni and a more directional microphone. Sometimes a conventional cardioid pattern just isn't quite open enough, such as when recording instruments with complex radiation patterns.
